Halloween Tassel Garland
Happy October, Hatchlings! Halloween is going to be here before we know it, so we decided to make this festive Halloween tassel garland. It is so easy to make, and the finished product is cute! It is a perfect project to do with the kiddies and you can make it any color scheme/theme you want. Great for birthdays or any holiday!

What you will need:
1. Different colored yarn (I used purple, green, orange, white, and black for the Halloween theme)
2. Scissors
3. Any book or object you have lying around the house that will be used to wrap the yarn around. We used this flashcard case that's about from about 3-4 inches wide. If you want them bigger, use a wider book.
How to Make Halloween Tassel Garland:
Step One: Cut two (approximately 5-inch) pieces of yarn. Set aside.
Step Two: Grab your yarn and start wrapping around the object you chose. Make sure you know how many times you wrapped around so all your tassels will be the same width. (We wrapped about 40 times).

Step Three: Once you are finished wrapping, cut the end and carefully remove the yarn bunch from the object. The bunch should remain in a circle. Take one of your five-inch strings and make a slipknot at the top of the bunch.

Step Four: Use your other five-inch piece about 1/3 of the way down to wrap the bunch together with a double knot.

Step Five: Cut the area opposite from where we tied them together and then trim the ends, so they are even.
Repeat the above steps to create 15-20 tassels.
Step 6: Once you have made all your tassels, attach to a long piece of yarn. I made mine about two feet long and tied the tassels so they would hang at different lengths until it looked full.

Once you are done tying them, trim any excess string.
Your finished product should look something like this:

Enjoy! xoxo
