S’mores Rice Krispie Treats

Have you ever met anyone who didn’t like s’mores? We thought so. The perfect mix of salty and sweet, these treats boast Golden Grahams and chocolate for a playful spin on the quintessential treat. They’re so good, you’re going to want them all for yourself.
You’ll Need:
4 Tbsp butter
6 cups marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups rice krispies
2 cups Golden Grahams
3/4 cup Marshmallow Bits
3/4 cup chocolate chips
What to do:
Mix together the rice krispies, Golden Grahams, Marshmallow Bits, and chocolate chips. Set aside. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Turn the heat down to the lowest setting and add the marshmallows. Stir until almost totally melted, then add the vanilla extract. Continuing stirring until the marshmallows are all melted, slow and steady.
Once fully melted, take them off heat and pour over the rice krispie mixture. Stir lightly to combine. Dump into a lightly greased 9x9 pan and let sit 5 minutes. Then go and light press into the pan with greased hands. Allow them to cool and set about 20 minutes. Enjoy!
Cherry Krispie Treats with Dark Chocolate

You’ll Need:
6 tbsp butter
1 ½ tbsp. cheery gelatin powder
16 oz pack mini marshmallows
8 cups Rice Krispies
11 oz dark chocolate, melted
Sprinkles (if desired)
What to do:
In a large saucepan, melt butter with gelatin powder and marshmallows on low heat. Stir until marshmallows are completely melted and smooth. Fold in cereal. Press mixture into a buttered baking sheet. Frost treats with melted dark chocolate and add desired sprinkles. Allow to set for about an hour. Cut into squares and enjoy. Store in a covered container.
Peanut Butter Cup Rice Krispie Treats

4 tablespoons butter
9 cups mini marshmallows, divided
1/4 cup peanut butter

What to do:
Line an 8x8 pan with a sling of parchment paper (or line with foil) and lightly rub sides of pan with butter. Set aside 1 cup of marshmallows. In a large heavy-bottomed pot, melt butter. Add peanut butter and then the remaining 8 cups of marshmallows. Stir often until melted and smooth. While marshmallows are melting, in a large bowl, combine cereal, peanut butter cups, and remaining 1 cup marshmallows. When marshmallow mixture is melted and smooth, pour over cereal mixture and stir to combine well. Transfer mix to prepared pan and let rest until set.
Cake Batter Rice Krispie Cupcakes

Almost too pretty to eat, these sweet treats are perfect for birthdays and beyond. Made to look like a cupcake, they’re fun to look at and even more fun to eat. Top ‘em with your favorite frosting and some sprinkles and it’s party time.
You’ll Need:
6 tbsp margarine* (3/4 of a stick)
3/4 cup yellow cake mix
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups Rice Krispies
1/2 10oz bag of marshmallows (5oz)
1 tbsp sprinkles
Your favorite frosting
What to do:
Melt margarine in the microwave (about 45 seconds). Mix in marshmallows and return to microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring between, until melted. Mix in cake mix and vanilla until combined. Add in sprinkles and 2 cups of Rice Krispies with a spatula. Add in the third cup of Rice Krispies. Fill each well-greased muffin holder with the Rice Krispie mixture and press it in gently with the back of a spoon. Cool for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Remove Rice Krispie cupcakes from tin with a knife. Frost and top with sprinkles.
