Carrot Seed Facial Serum

Why we love it: Used daily, this serum boasts healing, softening, and brightening benefits. And remember: a tiny dollop goes a very long way.

What you’ll need:
  • Organic rosehip seed oil
  • Organic jojoba oil
  • Organic pomegranate seed oil
  • Vitamin e oil
  • Organic lavender essential oil
  • Organic helichrysum essential oil
  • Organic carrot seed essential oil
  • 1 oz. glass bottle with dropper

What to do:

1) Pour 1/2 oz (1 tablespoon) of rosehips seed oil, 1/4 oz (1/2 tablespoon) of jojoba oil, and 1/4 oz (1/2 tablespoon) of pomegranate seed oil in a 1 oz clean glass bottle using a funnel.

2) Now add 5-10 drops vitamin E oil, 10 drops lavender essential oil, 3 drops helichrysum essential oil, and 2 drops carrot seed essential oil.

3) Once closed, roll the bottle or gently shake to evenly mix the ingredients.

4) Apply to clean skin and leave on for 30 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.

Hydrating Carrot Masque

Why we love it: This hydrating, nourishing masque is perfect for people with dry, dehydrated skin. It leaves skin feeling soft, fresh, and like new. 

What you’ll need:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 large carrot

What to Do:

Boil the carrot until soft and cut it in half. Mash up the half and combine with the egg yolk. Apply the mixture to your face and leave on for 20-30 minutes before rinsing off with warm water. Use your favorite moisturizer to seal the deal.


Anti-aging Eye Cream

Why we love it: First off, anything that fights off wrinkles is a must-try on our end! We love how thick and creamy this moisturizer feels under the eyes. Bonus: it’s perfect for those with sensitive skin.

What you’ll need:

  • 3 tsp jojoba oil
  • 3 tsp apricot-kernel oil
  • 1 tsp beeswax
  • 5 tsp rose water
  • ¼ tsp borax
  • 5 drops carrot-seed essential oil

What to do:

1) Put the jojoba oil, apricot-kernel oil and beeswax into a small saucepan and heat the mixture over very low heat just until the beeswax has melted. Remove from heat and blend up all the ingredients with a whisk.

2) In another small saucepan, warm the rose water over very low heat and add the borax; stir until the borax is dissolved, and remove from heat.

3) Place the saucepan with the oils and wax into an ice bath. With a small whisk, rapidly stir wax and oils while drizzling in the rose water and borax mixture. The cream should set quickly.

4) When the eye-wrinkle cream is cool, mix in the carrot-seed essential oil. Store the finished eye cream into a clean 2-oz. cream or cosmetic jar.
